Nestled at the foot of the Edendale Hill on State Highway 1 between Invercargill and Gore is a rose lovers treasure. Southern Roses is a commercial rose nursery in Southland producing high quality plants for the New Zealand market.
 
Unique to this nursery is that we are the only nursery in New Zealand that grow roses from seedlings.

Everyone is welcome to visit our established Rose Garden (1Ha), which has almost 300 different varieties. Please feel free to call in and make yourself comfortable and to have a rest with a cup of coffee in the middle of the roses.  Visitors to our rose nursery are welcome at anytime!!!
 
We always like to share our knowledge and experience about roses with tour customers. We will maintain a generous attitude, treating all customers with respect, honesty, integrity and personalised friendly service. Hopefully you will visit us and we hope also, that you will find all information you need on our website. We welcome enquiries and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our roses. Furthermore, we provide a service where you can ask us to give presentations to groups or societies (with a minimum group of 15).
